OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification
The Oeko-Tex® 100 standard is a universally recognized international ecological standard developed by the Austrian Textile Institute (Oti) and the German research institute Hohenstein. Products bearing the Oeko-Tex® 100 mark have no adverse, harmful effects on consumers. The Oeko-Tex® 100 standard sets strict limits for the permissible levels of harmful substances in textile products. The following ecological indicators of textile products are tested against this standard:
- heavy metals,
- formaldehyde,
- pesticides,
- aromatic amines,
- phenolics, other harmful impurities, and the resistance of the dye to the various wearing influences.
The fabrics in the Filo di Lino online shop are Oeko-Tex® 100 standard certified.
